A conceptual, impromptu short made in one hour of time. It is an amateur video made on my cell phone camera. I exported it as HD and now it looks a lot better :D Hopefully you will enjoy our little film.

The reason the film is titled "recollection" was to showcase the inner feelings of a young lady who tries to set aside her past mistakes.

"Recollection: a conceptual short"

Cast: Melissa Tsang

  • ha ha. Off your phone? nice.... what's this song called? and by who?

  • I think that's what makes it great though... the best videos all have their messages come at the end. Especially commercials. They show you all "desirable" things, and then pop out and go "Visit YouTube!"

  • yeah... sorry if the video didn't make a whole lot of sense. it was a spur of the moment kind of thing where i just pulled out my blackberry and was like let's just start filming. so yup. also, there was really no planning on this video. the whole thing was impromptu. read the description on the right please ====>

  • It makes a point, yes, but you wouldn't have known what that was without the text at the end.

  • It makes a point. I find that rather un-pointless.

  • Yeah, thanks. But that doesn't change the fact that this video is one of the most pointless things ever.

  • What do you mean?

  • this is like a film as lit comment.

  • Apologies for the previous half-hearted comment :(

I actually rather liked it, including the way the calm, somewhat sad music fit in so well with the theme of the video and its title. I thought the slowness of the video, though possibly slightly boring for select individuals, it could not have been any better had it been faster. The effects done to the video were quite fitting, with the vignetting creating a dreamy effect that when coupled with the desaturated video creates a effect of longing.
