Is There Life on Mars?

Many people still believe there's a carved rock formation called "The Face on Mars", carved out by Martians.

But this is a simple case of pareidolia, the mind putting to form the image objects it sees.

The images are all from NASA.

The background "music" is sounds of Satrun's radio emissions picked up by the Cassini spacecraft July 25, 2005.

The mountain on mars may at 1 stage may actually of been a face but over a long period of time eroded just like things here on earth do like the pyramids for example they once where almost perfect and now they look warn down and old and that has happened over a small period of time so imagine how long the face may have been up there and how much time its had to erode???? MAYBE

@123451718 I don't think people realize how BIG the face is. It is approximately 2.2 miles long on each side, and .62 miles wide. That's huge to carve. Mt. Rushmore is tiny compared to this. And Mt. Rushmore was never finished (they were going to be full standing figures), and took 14 years of blasting to get in that state. There is no evidence of any construction around the "face", no settlements, etc. 4000+ years later and you can still find traces of the settlement around them.

@yvettegr There isn't a construction site on earth that's 2.2 miles by .62 miles. The most recent, high-definition photos, clearly show it to be a natural mountain range.

You havent seen all the anomalies at La Victoria Crater. Have You! In the end astrophyscist have claimed cydonia was manipulated image but still no one can claim to know for sure, much of anything. We can pretend to know the truth, think we know the truth, based upon subjective data. the mars people knew they were doomed, so they sent humans to earth around 6100 years ago. its all documented in the pyramids of egypt. i have been studying egyptology for 7 years now. maybe underneath the "face" we will uncover ancient martian tresure that is far more advanced than anything on earth.

The tactic is a simple one really... To cause people to question what they are seeing...mix in a little truth with a little error. Its a conspiracy man! The so called revisited pics that were released have been clearly manipulated. If you were in NASA or the government and found out beyond a shadow of a doubt that these pictures revealed evidence of another civilization that either developed here & explored space before the Russians and Americans or that it developed elsewhere and traveled to Mars erecting this structure...what would you do. Probably play it down. Such a revelation would destroy everything already accepted

A picture taken by a orbiting satellite is far more reliable than the shape of an animal in a cloud which appears to be something totally different depending on who observes it. Neither is the likeness of Jesus on toast to be compared with high resolution pictures from space. Also, note that the sun does not create an optical allusion in the shape of the cloud or in the example given of toast. This site is going through a lot of trouble to discredit the photographic evidence.

And if this is an optical allusion created by the sun...why don't we see more examples like this and why did NASA all of a sudden stop showing pics of this area which created such interest in the general public. It sounds to me like this site might have been created by government to dish out misinformation. Deductive reasoning can often lead to the truth that others try so hard to hide.
