  • Such a beautiful, yet sad, song.

    Love it!!

  • @GlasgowCeltic88 > When it was recorded there was still hope now all we have is memories, it is only in years to come that we will realize what a loss this ship has been.

  • There was a slight shift in the gravitational pull that night. A result of a geological anomoly whereby two tectonic plates collide and shift just under the S[palpi Fanach pub. Hope this helps.

  • Thank Jimmy, even though I didn't go to see the tall ships for lots of reasons this song makes me feel that not only did I see them but that I was on one of them, it brings back images of the Onedian Line on T.V.

My own memory of Jimmy is when his old Volkswagon Van broke down out side Hotel Rosslare ( where I worked ) in Rosslare Harbour, I had the honour of using my jump leads to restart it. Chris

  • i love this song and the way its sung, from the heart. Tall ships are so elegant, the way she cuts through the waves and sails along. The Dunbrody is docked in NewRoss in Wexford.

  • how does he balance sideways like that?!
