I agree that it is wise to start a comment with "I agree". Nobody has stated that directly, but I did notice that 3 people before me used that wisdom. Peace!

I agree with you about the "feeling" of Youtube. There's something just intangibly wrong with it lately. I'm not really sure why it seems that way. It seems to be overrun with spammers and haters and professionals (or semi-professionals) trying to hit it big or "youtube celebs" trying to make people feed their starving egos. Meanwhile, most of the people that made me love Youtube in the first place rarely, if ever post. *sigh*

*Whistles innocently* :D

I think it's more like: Pamela Anderson, Jenna Jameson, Paris Hilton.

Your videos are always a great slice of reality and honesty.

The great think about this site, is that there's all kinds on here.
You don't like the polished product... don't watch it. I'm a fan of most vlogging styles (yours included)... so we can pick and choose.

Another great rant & ride with Ravenlaughs. I feel less conscious about my hair now and am not afraid to make a video blog.. because you make a great example of making a great video without needing the great looks and glamour like Paris;)
~FWz~
I'm not interested in saying anything nasty about Paris, there are plenty of people to do that already...it's not like there's anything to be jealous of, nobody really cares about her anyway, she's just watched for eye-candy and superficial entertainment.
I just have trouble personally relating to someone who has grown up without want or without having to work for anything.

Absolutly. There is no perspective or point of reference with someone who has that much money and has so much their entire life. How do you relate to someone like that?

I agree, real people are interesting. One of my favorites is the image of you in a karate outfit in your front yard. This is the kind of crazy shit that makes me feel not so alone in the world. I would not have a problem with a celebrity doing a blog or any other activity that I see regular folks do. I doubt we will Paris speaking honestly about her fears or being her true self.

It is the community of people. The reality of life and the chance to see that everyone goes through all kinds of crap (If they are willing to admit it publicly that is) so it shows the rest of us that we are all connected through our expereinces. :D

Ravenlaughs,
I didn't really feel like delving into the whole commercialization the other night in ZenArchers Frappr chat, but it's nice to know you and I share the same sentiments on the subject....
Godamn Whore, oh wait you said media somewhere in there, didn't you? Well with or without the "media" in there that about sums up Paris pretty well....
Look foward to the next one

It is simply a matter of perspective. Some have said, and this makes sense, that having her come here is a good thing as it will give her a DIRECT perspective on how she is not really liked as a celebrity. I, however, am getting tired of seeing her face all over the YT.
