@ThePavafan I second your opinion too :)

@ThePavafan You are stupid. Domingo was louder than Pavarotti. Pavarotti used microphones.
-
Pity one can hear the bloody prompter.
-
@ThePavafan I totally agree with you!

On the other hand Placido Domingo despite of his huge voice couldn't cut even through big orchestras which are smaller than the full orchestra.

Even on this video [in videos the higher voice is always more appealing] pavarotti drowns ghena on the two high notes at the end.He isn't a dramatic voice,he is lyric but more powerful than the dramatic ones.He had kind of a sword in his voice that cuts through every dramatic voice and full orchestra and than drowns them.

Placido's voice is huge but his voice didn't project very well.Maybe that is so because of his lack of technique.He sings like strangled.And Luciano sings so freely and beautiful,like the notes are singing themself alone.

daphnebeloved you are right.I did some comparation and i found out that because of his technique pavarotti who didn't have a dramatic voice on the list of loudest singers whose voice projects well is on the second place together with tucker, corelli,tamgno .Btw the loudest singer ever is suppoused to be Carl Haus.But of course the most perfect voice ever is pavarotti's.On the third place are del monaco and ghena dimitrova.

@05Mrstef but the same didnt happen to placido dominogs, he has big , potent and powerful voice, but i think it doesnt project as well as pavarotti s voice when he used to sing turandont, most of time his voice was drowned by turandot ' s , especially Ghena dimitrova' s turandot
Che potenza impressionante la Dimitrova !! Grandissima Ghena !
