Texas Pro-Life Group Robocall in Board of Education Primary Race

Robocall from a Texas pro-life advocate on behalf of candidate Brian Russell for State Board of Education. In the call, Joe Pojman describes Russell as a "staunchly pro-life candidate" in the race in the GOP primary. The SBoE has been under criticism recently for trying to appease "Radical Right" interests through the curriculum. To my knowledge, the SBoE does not address abortion-related issues; local school districts are responsible for sex-ed content (and some are obviously doing a terrible job since Texas has a high teen birth rate).

Thanks for taking the time to post this, Lucky. Sure wish more voters were able to see how the religious right is using culture war tactics in order to force their agenda on the public school system.

@trog69 - No problem, and thanks for providing some feedback. I was astonished by the nature of that call considering it's for the SBoE. One thing I didn't note in my description is that Brian Russell is a homeschooler; he wants to make rules for everyone else's kids in a system he's opted out of.
