@gaussmanv2 Really? I guess your knowledge of American history is as fuzzy as your knowledge of how government taxation works. Republicans voted 138-34 in the House and 27-6 in the Senate FOR the Civil Rights Act. The primary opposition to the bill was in fact Democratic. A filibuster was attempted in the Senate supported by 18 Democrats and only 1 (one) Republican.

I guess we see what our public taxation for education gets us, don't we????

@gaussmanv2 To top it off, if I refuse to pay for the other crap, government agents get to use fast lane procedures to seize my property and then come and arrest me. I get tried in a court that will NOT allow me to make an affirmative defense and WHEN, not if, I'm convicted I go to prison for YEARS.

@gaussmanv2 That is the most ridiculous post I've read in a very long time. I have a choice as to what I buy in the store, I can buy the cheaper item if I wish, or I can not buy an item I won't use. If I choose not to buy something the store security doesn't get to arrest me and send me to prison. I have no such choice when it comes to government taxation. I don't get to choose which product to purchase. I'd buy roads and police, but sadly I have to pay for all the crap I will never use too.

Tim Geither is too dumb to figure out automated tax software, so of course he is well suite to run the treasury, because like any other government job, the Secretary of the treasury requires no intelligence, thats how Geithner got the job

I guess I have nothing to worry about. If my taxes don't get done on time or filed properly, the worst that the government can do to me is to makes me go to DC and be the Secretary of the Treasury. Yes, their is a legal precedent for this move. You see, if I have faulty tax returns I already get to use the Geithner Defense. Which is "I was just too STOOPID to figure out "Turbo Tax"", it worked for Timmy, it should be good enough for the rest of us.

@ZoomieMSgt You do realize that black voters tend to vote democrat right?  More so than whites do? There's a reason for that. It has something to do with the fact that Republicans opposed the civil rights act, and its because Nixon, Reagan and both of the Bushes have favored platforms that are quite shitty towards lower class citizens which blacks make up a large percentage of.

Consider you walk into a store. Do you complain that you have to pay for the goods that you pick up off the shelves? Of course not because it makes sense that you have to pay for them. People worked to produce it, ship it and sell it to you. Why is it that when you're asked to pay for roads, police, schools and all of the wonderful things that government programs bring you, you lose your shit and think that people are stealing from you?
