Very good. I wish I had the Sticky and Sweet sheet music that Lourdes and her pianist learned from. When rumors of Madonna doing a song for Full Moon came out, I thought that a remixed version of this song might be the song...all that could have been. I think this song was one of the very best from Hard Candy. It was such a consistent and overall great album and perhaps her most ambitious in terms of what she was aiming for: US popularity. Really underrated.

You are witty ... It's like the original with there had been speeches in the beginning but kept the same rhythm

it's a brilliant song, musically, but the meaning is quite dark.. it is ALL about losing one's dark side, whom everone can only recognize themselves, not the devil, because its disguise as the 'real' person is so perfect. The soul, surrounded by the '72 Angels of God' wants to become free of this sad, dark, lonely, egotistical mask, free of the 'drug' this old self really was. Kabbalah teaches that our 'dark' side stands between us and God. Personally, I think it's a very unhealthy belief.

true, although i don't agree. in my opinion it is unhealthy to believe in any god. let me explain, for example, when the sun dies and explodes, destroying a few planets from our system, including ours, no god will help us. science will. so, believing in kabalah, or any other kind of system that praises a god... healthy? no. makes you feel better? yeah. i'm not exactly agnostic, but i like facts, tangible results. what do you think?
