♦ {Reverie ~ a state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts; a daydream}
♦ About the meaning:
I wanted to compose a piece that conveyed the feeling of a person's creative process! The person isn't just sitting there idle and lifeless, but rather, engaging with his/her thoughts and ideas, as they spring to mind. We've all been that person at certain moments in our lives...explorers of our own reveries!
♦ About the music:
I used my midi keyboard and garageband to compose the piece. The various instrumental layers include: 2 harp parts, marimba, celesta, pizzicato violin, and a bit of percussion (triangle, bells). It's a very rhythmic piece, and I hope it wasn't too overpowering .__. Let me know what you all think! It's my first original composition to be uploaded to youtube...for EVERYONE to hear @.@ So I'm just a little nervous lol.

Pretty cool girl, this is great! Really reverieish indeed. As far as I am concerned you could have spiced it up even more, like change the instrument playing the main melody (i'd have really liked that glockenspiel or whatever instrument that enters at 1:02 and does a little counter melodic line to play the main melody some times; or the marimba of course).

@re1ntyes The instrument at 1:02's a celesta, and I agree! I'll play around with the piece again and see how it sounds with the change :D Thanks so much, Roy! I really appreciate your input ^^ I'm a beginner when it comes to orchestration, so any advice helps.
