Friday march 13, 1964, my birthday, was the opening of the new MARQUEE CLUB in Wardour St, London ( just moved from Oxford St.) The Line up was, The YARDBIRDS, with Eric C, backing Sonny Boy Williamson,. 2nd band was Long John Baldry and the HOOCHIE COOCHIE MEN, with new singer, 19 year old ROD STEWART, in a shiny suit and backcombed hair, singing I'LL PUT A TIGER IN YOUR TANK...

Hamish Grimes who designed the albums and posters for the CRAWDADDY was the MC and does the introduction on the album He was our part time manager for Giorgio. Gone now, bless him.
