人的大腦,經過二百萬年的演化,已經可以模擬情境,您可以猜猜看,一個中樂透的人,和­一個癱瘓的人,究竟誰比較快樂?當你試著模擬情境時,您的答案,可能和事實會有很大­的­出入。為什麼?因為快樂是可以「人造」的。同理,即使我們受到挫折和創傷,但強度和時­間長也經常在不知覺中被誇大。了解人的大腦模擬狀況,您就會知道:當人的選擇愈­多,就­會愈不快樂?這和「設計」息息相關。
