i was there today and i hitched hiked. it was fun. i stayed for about 8 minutes and left i didn't like all the elk staring at me.

Ah, the Yakima herd. I wish WSDFW saw it fit to shoot branched antlered bulls from that herd. Where I hunt it's spike or antlerless only. Total bummer because there are some nice ones. Ever time I go to Oak Creek I just drool.

we used to get a herd of about 30 that would cross through our property in North Bend, I miss them and our bear who would help herself to our apple tree every fall. we're in the bottom of the valley now instead of the hills.
