Summer Breeze Seals & Crofts 1972

According to Billboard ratings, SUMMER BREEZE was ranked #2 among all albums charted
during 1973.

See the curtains hangin' in the window, in the evenin' on a Friday night.
A little light a-shinin' through the window, lets me know everything is alright.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.

See the paper layin' in the sidewalk, a little music from the house next door.
So I walked on up to the doorstep, through the screen and across the floor.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.

Sweet days of summer, the jasmine's in bloom. July is dressed up and playing her tune.
And I come home from a hard day's work, and you're waiting there, not a care in the world.
See the smile a-waitin' in the kitchen, food cookin' and the plates for two.
See the arms that reach out to hold me, in the evening when the day is through.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.

  • Summer Breeze was the second song, after Blowin' in the Wind, that I learned how to play on the guitar. I can actually feel and smell the 70's when I hear this song, Get Closer, and We May Never Pass This Way Again... Now... I feel compelled to break out the Yamaha...

  • @azorelovesrush1 Ok I'm going with ;)

  • Whhat the hell? I saved this joint after I listened to it, went back to hear it again and now it's "not available on mobile"? BULLSHIT!!!!

  • @MrDdb214 must have been a glitch...

  • O poder que uma música possue em teletransportar ao passado é incrível...

  • @ferrabraz06 Eu concordo ... faz-nos jovens novamente : )

  • This song brings back sweet memories of my childhood in New York in the early 70s. Even with the urban problems, it was a much simpler, more enjoyable time to be a kid.

  • im 16 still listening to this. Proof that REAL music never dies<3

  • @Greymans -that is my personal thought and feeling. I said that because back then we had no crack cocaine, my relatives often left their doors unlocked, most kids in America had TWO parents, illegal immigration was not a problem, AIDS was unheard of, in many places kids could hang out at night without worrying about being targeted for crime. There was crime and problems but nothing like today's. Yes, I stand firm: It was a very enjoyable time to be a kid.

  • @ACLTony You cant say any time is more enjoyable than any other time to be a kid, how can you back that up?

  • @azorelovesrush1 You lived

  • Heh, I've always loved this song. I'm quite sure that it'd still sound awesome as a hard-rock remix, a la Bruce Springsteen or Nirvana.

  • This song is perfect for any situation and anyone

  • Heard this on the radio this morning. It seemed to fit the mood, even though it was a dark and rainy 7 am. Good stuff.

  • When I was a baby my mom use to hold me in her arms and dance to this song. :)

  • I'm not yet incarnated into the life in which I will like this song and I like this song, go figure

  • Love this song
