hi i can answer your question. is your phone from fido or rogers or any other company? when you open it does it show your carriers logo? if your phone came from a carrier than it is "branded" and therefor touched up by the carrier. as far as i know you will never be able to put your songs as ring tones unless you buy them - which is a bummer

I have this phone. I can't make my songs (MP3 format) into ringtones. My friend has a motorola and he can just click "set as ringtone". I don't have that option, and I really want the song as a ringtone.
What do i do?

get a converter to change the mp3 file into something your phone can read not exactly sure what that file type is though just google it.
