Another request! Here's Marilyn McCoo and Ronnie Milsap singing a duet of two of Ronnie's big hits -- Almost Like a Song & Smokey Mountain Rain -- on Solid Gold in the mid-80's. I have lots of videos to share of Marilyn McCoo singing covers, duets and more from her Solid Gold years. Hope my fellow McCoo fans enjoy them! Music arranged and produced by Solid Gold's musical director, Michael Miller.

  • I see why there is a reason people know Ronnie and not this no talent bitch

  • Apparently, Ronnie thought Marilyn had a wonderful voice and performed many medley duets with Marilyn on Solid Gold. For someone who has "no talent", it's must be shocking for you to learn that Marilyn earned 7 Grammys, 15 gold and 3 platinum records and has a career spanning multiple decades.

  • I see the DulceLoves Tony post is still here years later. Ironically I still love that woman and she knows it to this very day. I never ever stopped loving you. Just circumstances always kept getting in the way. However time has only proven that you are always in my heart. I dont want to play that song for you anymore. Seems to bring us bad karma maybe. So I rather play a song I wrote you personally. Just remember....."DID YOU KNOW"? I hope you always will. Te Quero mi amor Y vieja Dulce.

  • @mccoofan When she was with the 5th Dimension She had the very special voice. Singing with Billy Davis Jr. also

  • @MrNotNiceGuy No talent bitch? You must be crazy.

  • @MrNotNiceGuy Well I've never heard of her either, but its very obvious she's got talent and is indeed in the same class as Ronny Milsap !

  • It just can not get any better than this! As in voices made in HEAVEN.

  • Milsap's vocal abilities are so enormous. when he sings harmony, he melts his voice into the other persons voice so well that they both become one instrument.

  • I saw this performance, & once again, Marilyn could duet wwith anyone, & always make the song sound better. Her best duet ever? Watch Carl Wilson & Marilyn do " God Only Knows"; it brings me to tears every time I see it; Carl & Marilyn were perfect together. Wolfsky9

  • Wow...Miss That show, oh the memories that flood my mind listening to this...Always cry when I hear this...over that special someone, she knows who she is..

  • Whilst agreeing that commercial success means nothing when assessing a performers ability, in this case your assessment is way off the mark. That "bitch" had one of the most accomplished voices ever to grace popular music, Great range and dynamics and power when required but never strained like so many other artists. The music she is singing and the bloke doing the duet are not up to much though.

  • I think that Mr. Milsap would disagree with these negative posts. His vocal range is limited and so his songs do not offer the kind of range that best showcases Marilyn's talent. She does have a very good voice and there are plenty of examples here on you tube and elsewhere on the internet. Remember, her job on Solid Gold wasn't just to sing, it was to make the guests feel at home, etc., and not overpowering them vocally, and she does that well with Ronnie.
