Nice job! I have had three sets of twins raised in my covered atrium. I stand on a 7 foot ladder with my head in a box holding the camera and blankets pinned to the box that I hide under. See my videos on you tube, my latest is mom feeding and the babies trying their wings and massive preening. startechnow on you tube.

At my house, we have a new hummingbird nest. She built it over Spring Break.

Very nice. She looks like a good Mother.

Wonderful video!
If you can see, go to my channel and watch the footage called "Beija-flor na Antena" ("Hummingbird on Antenna" in English), divided into 18 parts, recorded for about a month. You'll know the hummingbirds also can make nest on a TV antenna!

their sooooooooooooooo cute when there babies... there so chunky and cute. I cant get over it :j
the birds are sickeningly beautiful!!! amazing!! how did u do this???
and the rats are cute in their own way, too.... it's just the "25th cadre" idea that doesn't quite appeal to everybody.... but they are nice.

About an hour every other day with 2 cameras (one zoomed in, one wide) What's "25th cadre" ?

whats with the oddly placed Steve Worthington Art? beautiful humming birds mixed with dead rats? lol... Love the documentary, still scratching my head about the ads. ;o)

Long live the dead rats!
Actually, they're bronze mice which I sculpted, not dead rats!
I kind of put 'em in for a bit of a giggle (a bit of crass method of self promotion), although I realize their presence doesn't appeal to everyone!
But hey, I made the video, and the mice so I get to make my own mistakes!

Delighful! Very well pieced together, too. It must have been fun watching. 'Glad you caught the moment of departure!
Did you have a handy 2nd-floor window, or did you need a ladder or something to get this great view?

We had a few feet of wooden platform outside our patio doors about 2 feet off the ground, on which I put my tripod at maxed out hight.
It was fun watching them, and I was really lucky to get the pair leaving I must admit!
