It's probably coming around spring 2010. They would have shown it at E3 '09, but Miyamoto said there wasn't quite enough game footage to make an ad of it.

wait so its coming around 2010 right. before they do that they need to edit pikmin 2 to wii or do like metroid trilogy make a pikmin trilogy set.

He definitely meant both the Pikmin 1 and 2 remakes AND a new third Pikmin. Just not WHEN, since theyre working on 2 epic Mario games and a Zelda-ToonLink-train-DS-thingy .
