What is Collars For A Cause?

Collars For A Cause is an exciting fundraising element added to the SNAPshots event for 2010. Our goal is the collection 229 creative and unique and one-of-a-kind dog and cat collars. These collars can be designed by celebrities, artists, and fashion designers. The number 229 represents the number of dogs and cats euthanized daily in the Houston area as a result of animal overpopulation. Visit http://collarsforacause.org/ for more details.

What is SNAP?

The Spay-Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) provides free and reduced-cost spay-neuter and animal wellness services. The mission of SNAP is to prevent the suffering and death of cats and dogs due to overpopulation, especially in low-income areas of TX. SNAP operates four mobile and stationary clinics in Houston and San Antonio. Since founded in 1993, SNAPhas sterilized over 330,000 dogs and cats. Every animal SNAP spays and neuters brings us closer to ending the tragedy of animal overpopulation. Vist www.snapus.org for more info.
