  • This shows why relatively few artists try and cover Pixies songs. You can't come close.

  • @dlfunky1 - Only two good albums? That's not good enough for you? It's better than I can do. I'm not sure what you're trying to say here.

  • @BayviewFinch how many artists do good music let alone great for over a decade most cant even produce 2-3 good albums let alone 4 masterpieces in hunky ziggy low and station2station plus not everything inthe 90's was bad outside was decent lets face it pixes only produced 2 good albums.

  • Facebook page ''Good honest music'' for honest music fans

  • hahaha treyspr you dick, you obviously ain't listened to Outside from 95 or Heathen from 2002? The odds and ends he did with Trent Reznor where amazing. Of course if, like yourself, you only listen to chart music then you wouldn't have. Should we ask My Chemical Romance or some such too cover stuff so you get educated :) xxx

  • @cardigansarecool it says Pixies are one of the greatest bands ever

  • @treyspr - Good afternoon. I'm just saying that musically he hasn't done anything relevant for about 3 decades, despite being a rock god. Of course it would be an honour to have him cover your song, but it's not going to mean much to anyone outside of the fan bases of Bowie and the Pixies. So, what does it mean when Bowie covers your song? You're lucky. You can brag to some people. But, realistically, in 2011?

  • @BayviewFinch My friend, you used the word "irrelevant" but the man continues to sell out concerts on tour and i'm sure he's in his fifties or sixties. Of course his record sales will not be the same as 30 years ago but neither is any other superstar past his prime, such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna. But he still is creative and still influences many new artists.

  • @treyspr - How much post-"Let's Dance" Bowie music do you honestly think people listen to? The only people that buy those albums are ones who were previously fans over Bowie's older music. No kid in their right mind would download a new Bowie album without having been turned on to older music first. Then they'd give it a listen, maybe even like it a little, and promptly forget about it. I think Bowie made some great music. 30 years ago. That's pretty much what everyone else thinks too.

  • Moby should shut up and let Bowie do the singing!
