Cenk isn't anti-capitalist. He's pro-sanity. I also used to consider myself a conservative, and I've made the switch because I can see how the conservatives have just gone batshit with the tea party movement, the conspiracy theories, and everything else. I'm all done with conservatives.

  • This guy actually makes me proud to be a Minnesotan. We gotta do something about that nut job Bachmann though.

  • I watch the video, than I browse the comments. Absolutely amazing what people can make of a video that not much over 2 minutes long. Franken was accurate in his assessment. What Cenk spoke about is the transformation from USA to USA inc. many of us see happening.

  • Another Marxist, Zionist, Atheist Jew posing as an American.

  • Personally I don’t want people running around armed BUT the constitution say they can. Courts have said amendments can be regulated but not to the point of out right ban.

  • Frank and beans is right but the problem is liberal judges should be remove for violating their oath. The last easy test was 2 amendment 5 to 4. 4 of these justices violated their oath to the constitution with no doubt. The other conservative justices have violated their oath in other amendments so they should be impeached and removed also.

Judges that are appointed must up hold the constitution and their oath to do so and must be watched.

  • @Steve197201 - ...and BTW, welcome to the sane side, we're glad to have you.

  • @ankharris -

    ...

To say that corporations have human rights is like saying a toaster has human rights. And to say that they shouldn't be regulated is like saying that a toaster shouldn't have a timer, that the toast should just pop out whenever the toaster "decided" it was the right time, thus it might not toast at all or burn your toast or even burn your house down.

  • @Steve197201 - The idea that liberals are anti-capitalist is ludicrous. Many liberals will point out to you that they themselves have started corporations, Thom Hartmann being the example that comes to mind.

The difference being that liberals know that people were here first, and that the corporations/capitalism were originally created by people to be servants to people. Corporations are tools, and just like any tool can be used to do good or evil.

  • Al Franken is one of only a few Politicians in America I respect, he tells it as it is and never sugar coats what he says.

  • @Broughttolight Nobody is forcing you to have a gay marriage, but you have no right to keep that from those that do. How does it effect you if two men get married? NOT AT ALL. The Founding Fathers said that never should the rights of a minority be put up for the public vote of a majority. When gay marriage is legal nationwide you will see the sky wont fall, and your two gay neighbours getting married effects you no more then when it's raining 500 miles away from where you live.
