@karelfromholland: Hallo Karel, these FL9's were made from 1954 -1960 and only stopped use for revenue just a few years ago. The front or "nose" was first designed for the Model FT in 1939 so perhaps you are correct after all.

Is the Maine eastern railroad a tourist train or commuter train

@SALEMFIREDEPT It's a toursit excursion train. Eventually, the Downeaster Amtrak from Boston will end at the station pictured. Maine Eastern also operates freight trains for Dragon Cement, Bath Iron Works, and other customers.
