P-38 Lightnings "23 Skidoo" and "Honey Bunny" warming up at POF

WHO: Original members of the 82nd Fighter Group will be in attendance and presenting the following topics during a round table discussion panel about their war time activities and the P-38. The program is as follows:

1. Don Foley - Introduction of history and welcoming & presentation to Jack Croul P-38 restoration plaque.
2. Will Hattendorf - England to Africa
3. Olen Medley - Queen Mary accident North Africa maintenance
4. Frank Hurlbut - Aces in North Africa
5. Lute Thompson - North Africa, Sicily and Corsica
6. Don Stoutenborough - Sicily and Southern Italy Ploestie
7. Bill Blurock - Russian Yac conflict
8. Jack Sides - Wilsie/Andrew/Piggyback on to Russia
9. Charlie Anson - POW

WHAT: Open to the public, we present a discussion panel of 82nd FG veterans and aviation historians followed by a question & answer period. The topic this day is "The 82nd Fighter Group in WWII", featuring the P-38 Lightning with flight demonstration of two P-38s, POF's "23 Skidoo" flown by John Maloney and Jack Croul's "Honey Bunny" flown by Kevin Eldridge. POF Members are entered into a raffle for a flight in the P-38 Lightning following the presentation
