The Nation's Chris Hayes and National Review's Reihan Salam sit down with Will Cain and debate whether the US should "police" the world.

  • The soviet union collapsed in on itself cus it tried to build an empire and failed. Empires crumble 100 % of the time. America doesn't have the money nor the resources to successfully police the world. You spread freedom through the practice of it, not through authoritarianism.

  • Reihan is so generic and full of nonsense.

  • @HarveyRex23 lmao

  • Um Reihan is displayed as a conservative. The Nation is a self labeled liberal publication.

  • We can and should when it is feasible to do so, but intervening in all places at all times is also a disaster, but the fact that you can't protect everyone is not an argument for protecting no one.

  • Vulcan is a compliment... Where did they find this Klingon?

  • Reihan seems reasonable and erudite but his bobble-head dog impersonation was quite distracting.

  • You are a moron. Did you even watch the video? Salam IS the conservative (he writes for National Review!). Hayes IS the liberal (he writes for the Nation!). Stop your liberal belly-aching.

  • Better debate than you'd ever see on Hardball.
