The lone Music Video featured from the BOOGIEMONSTERS sophomore album GOD SOUND.

The message on GOD SOUND was so volatile it collapsed EMI Records group, the so-called international music megaforce into an 'enclave' in the UK in a weak attempt to stop the release of GOD SOUND to the masses. They fired the entire staff in a 3 day lockdown of all executive offices and juggled the careers of some the world's biggest artists, shuffling them off to Capitol Records and other "sister labels."

EMI's business attorney "black listed" and blackmailed Vex, forcing him to sign a release of liability in return for the rights to his masters and publishing. He explained that he was being fired that day, there would be no negotiating, and it was his attempt to give Vex a chance at real musical freedom.

He asked Vex to imagine a huge steel door crashing closed and the GOD SOUND CD sliding under the door.
This is exactly what happened! To this day EMI has denied Vex any Domestic Royalties accrued from the sales and promotion of Riders of the Storm... &
GOD SOUND, BOTH domestic releases on EMI Records.

When Vex asked the president of the label why EMI folded, he replied " Vex, It's much like World War III..."

Needless to say, GOD SOUND reigns supreme! Selah

Thank YOU for supporting HIP HOP's best kept secret!

  • I Love This Album!!!

  • If you like their music, you should check out their sermons. Ivor Myers has some serious insight.

  • its coming ;child of predection;;love has no fear;; pray

  • Dont we wish Hip Hop was today what it was then. Record companies and DJ's are to blaim. At the beggining of this year, Nas' album was number 1 on the charts yet I never heard a song from that album on the redio. Not even once. Video's but no radio. Which proves.....Radio dont just play what sells. They play bullshit! Shit to keep the Hip Hop generetion in the dark. After all, there's a lot more to this music besides Clubs dances and Bubbly! A LOT MORE!

  • yea this album is sick. The 1st one is better though.
