Deuces wild is situated in 57-59. Isn't 'I wonder why' the great intro?
-
Yep. Cool tune. I find the lead singer a tad bit uninspiring, but overall nice Belmont-y harmonies and orchestration.

Always loved the side...never knew it was issued that often, or for that matter the year...great post by any means

This is the 2nd record ever issued on Lost Night, and it is very rare. This isn't a reissue as most Lost Nites were.. This is a legit 2nd pressing issued within months of the first issue on the Elgey label. Lost Night changed their name to Lost Nite shortly after this issue and went to the yellow and black label scheme.. The copies of this on the yellow and black labels were pressed later on and are relatively common. This one was only issued briefly in 1961.

Great Italian style doo wop.Should have been the opening theme to the film "Deuc es Wild"

That would have been really cool. A shame they didn't think of it
