Everquest RIP

I urge all of you to join Project 1999. It is incredibly close to the original Everquest and free of charge. Average population is around 650, making it the most popular emulated server. I have to say that eq went to shit after planes of power.

Before planes of power,the armor was good but the raids were still fun and the people were alot nicer then for some odd reason.

The people started worrying more about grinding xp and getting gear than having fun and it became all about getting gear and stepping on as many people as they need to get it.I loved the classic days of velius and kunark.Those were some of the best moments of eq for me.

EQ had the most badass looking spells. I played for a long time. I remember logging in and actually being in Norrath. Logging in and out in what seemed liked and hour ended up being 2 days haha. I will always miss EQ. The original theme song was amazing.

I too still play EverQuest or as its called in my city EverCrack. Have been since RoK and still love the game to this day. I play between this and EverQuest 2. It is still personally the best MMO. I can say this as I've tried WAR/ AOC/ WoW/ EVE online/ and MxO online as well as SWG. EverQuest could still have the market and will make a rise back to top MMORPG of the year.
