I think it would have been easy though. Something like GL visiting Vixen after her injuries and her telling her to go back to Hawkgirl. Guess I'm was just looking for a fairytale lol

I think he ended it well, if GL left vixen while she was still in the hospital it would have been out of his character. Bruce Timm let them continue their relationship and let it end naturally while giving the fans clues how things wrap up. Seeing how Warhawk appears in epilogue, we're left to assume that GL ends his relationship with Vixen and gets back together with hawkgirl.

Bruce Timm and his staff pissed me off with this story. How do you leave it up in the air like that? The whole ancient history episode, telling them that they were meant to be together, that they still love eachother and at the end he says he's going to stay with Vixen? What was the point in showing Warhawk then? So annoying I want to pull my hair out, and I have it buzzed!!!
