Gay marriage is "banned" mainly in Third World countries - including Easten Europe and other soviet block backwaters - and old Christian Colonies of the British Empire (including America and other Asian colonies brainwashed by the Victorians or Muslim fundamentalists. You are the one who is stuck in the dirty old past.

South Africans were shocked and horrified to discover that America (of all places) actually thinks it is normal to vote on human rights issues (let alone civil rights). Take a look at Mandela's and Tutu's remarks on this issue. It is amazing to me how these two leaders (probably the greatest civil rights leaders of 20th century democracy) were simply ignored by America (the so-called paragon of democracy).

I am pretty sure 90% didn't vote yes on 8, it was a hell of lot closer to 50%.
Since the entire world has not voted on their views of gay marriage, you really have no clue what they believe.

You receive a massive fail stamp for having the shittiest logic in the world.
1- People are not ready to consent to marriage until adulthood, therefore it would be unlawful to have a situation where a child was wed (this was an issue debate long ago)
2- Homosexuality has been proven to not be a choice, the ability to change does not make it a choice, that is called being "fluid, pansexual or bisexual." You really need to learn more about human sexuality before you speak.
