Basic Contact Juggling Tutorial No. 1: The Butterfly

Basically how to learn the Butterfly, the absolute exactly FIRST move you should learn in Contact Juggling. If you have a magic fushigi antiy gravity ball you may find this too easy.

If you are really struggling check out this video as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=are786WId4U

I just want to mention that once you made this video for fun and not for educational purpose, it should be more focused to that direction. The tags have no words as "comedy" "ironic" "fun" "metaphor" etc, just tutorial, education etc. The category is also education. You also made a lot of useful tutorials and people think of it as one more of these. The temple-temple is great and fun, though the stop at the fingers is an actual exercise for a controlled and slow butterfly :D

  • @congasious only in destroying I find ease to my relentless thoughts

  • you are the least helpful video...you are giving a lesson on the first trick we should learn and then do all these other tricks that make it harder to learn because you have to learn to balance it on you rhead...very discouraging first try with contact juggling

  • @mrunicycle13 :D my videos are a metaphor for life. If you take it too seriously you may miss the point. (This comment is included in that metaphor)

  • I did this trick without balancing the ball on my head and without balancing it between my fingers! :0

  • @LeBoboninja wow you learned it the hard way, good work.

  • @lorenrb the tonal structure of easy-listening music or 'muzak' is an almost perfect simulcrum of the progression of the various thought processes required for these techniques.

Almost on a subliminal level this music choice is conditioning the sections of your brain responsible for acquiring the muscle memory required.

Freelance physio-musologists have understood such ideas for a few years now, but only recently have the longer-term effects been shown as positive.
