although this is cool, it takes away everything that playing the trumpet is about. the sound patches are making the expressions, tone, and quality. anyone can learn fingerings and blow into a plastic mass. you could have bought a nice strad instead. your 1/3 there.

Thanks for the support nyhyl. However that kind of talk doesn't upset me; it's very amusing. This person "jazzmangiant" probably just feels intimidated. Why else would he call himself a giant. Maybe he'll send me something I can view to show me what he considers a real musician. However I have performed and or been featured with Carlos Santana, Widespread Panic, John Popper, Jerry Goodman, Fred Wesley, Warren Haynes, Bernie Worrell, Blackbyrd McKnight just to name a few who praise me work.

As a former trumpet player I can relate to your sentiments. However, this is about expression and I express myself better on the digital instruments. I can only go by how I feel, not by how another think of feel. As a matter I was just contacted by Bernie Worrell (Talking Heads) & Blackbyrd McKnight (Miles Davis) to play horns on their new album. In addiion I've performed with Carlos Santana, Gerry Goodmanm (Mahavishnu Orch.), Fred Wesley (James Brown) to name a few. All of which love it!
