  • Nice to see Dr. Land say doctrinal differences would not affect his vote.

Mormonism is a First Century AD Christian faith, restored in the Nineteenth Century and practiced in the Twenty-first Century. It is often maligned by people who judge it by Fourth Century AD creeds that have little or nothing to do with New Testament Christianity.

Specifically Mormons do not subscribe to the ideas that God is unknowable, without body, parts or passions. What did Christ call God? Our Father. Unknowable?!

  • @jedmerrill Very good comment! Thank you for probably the best explanation of Mormonism I have ever heard.

"The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government."

  • My girlfriend is mormon and I couldn't care a less about Mitt Romney's religion. I want somebody who can create jobs and and really inspire America to the truest sense.

  • @godzilla0083 I couldn't agree more. Governor Mitt Romney is the most qualified candidate who can help us in a very practical manner based upon his experience in creating jobs in the workplace and his financial know-how. We should be extremely thankful that someone of his caliber is actually willing to run for the office of President of the United States.

  • flip flopper.I'm republican and i will vote for Obama before Romney.

  • @rockhound362002 if you truly believe everything you see on the media and even worse if you would vote Obama back into office after what he has done you are truly more ignorant than anyone I know. All the alleged changes of view most of which were taken out of context reshaped, repackaged and presented by the media as only the liberal media knows how to spin it. The Obama administration also fears Mitt Romney more than any other candidate as the one most likely to beat him in an election.

  • Hannity has it right...all the different Christian faiths have far more in common yet certain people prefer to focus on differences and tear each other apart...as a Christian I can see this as Satan's attempt to destroy Christianity from within. Just as are country is being destroyed from within and by contrast we may all succeed by both first cleansing the inner-vessel or in other words focus on improving ourselves and and upon what we all have in common rather than differences.

  • What is ironic is that so-called "mainstrean christians" don't even know that the term "christian" was a term given to the followers of Christ by people who hated Christ. Any person who knew Christian history or the Bible would know that the followers of Christ in the Bible called each other saints (true followers of God). That is why Mormons are actually called Latter Day Saints. The term Mormon was given to Latter Day Saints by "anti-Mormons" or haters of Latter Day Saints.
