Love this! My friends and I used to watch this every Saturday night -- it came on right after Star Trek: The Next Generation, which we worshiped. Sadly, we were in Northwest Arkansas, and some Xians complained that Friday the 13th was Satanic and therefore evil, and it was pulled off the schedule after the second season. So the moral of the story is to avoid Northwest Arkansas at all costs!

Sadly has nothing to do with the slasher horror? This was one of the greatest horror t.v. shows of all time. The Friday the 13th series of movies were garbage.

I loved watching this series. What caught me was the music and the great advertising. The clip for the next episode was always spooky. They used to play these episodes every Saturday afternoon.

@jaded0724 Oh yes! F13 The Series is certainly one reason why I was darn proud to be an 80's Teen ;) Never missed a single eps since "The Inheritance" made its auspicious broadcast premiere on 10/3/87! It's very gratifying to see an entire new generation of fans discovering this incredible cult series on DVD and cable :)
