Note the split-screen mode they used for
Yeend and Cody during the sports report -
mentioning boating season and Jack Morton..

..and when TV slips and 'catches' one of RADIO's paid spots
going over the air (at 8:00), as Yeend begins to read
the ad for RICH'S after he says: 'commercial word'

KIRO's Dave Ross had a short feature of 'Morning Notes'
at 5 minutes to 7am then (had to edit out),
but TV only showed his picture during audio (like Brendle);
Ross began a daily commentary on the
CBS Radio Network this same year
