On my trip to UK a couple of years ago I ended up doing one of the ghost tours up in Edinburgh. I had heard of the Mackenzie Poltergeist so chose to do the City of the Dead tour run by Black Hart Entertainment. I so enjoyed it, I did several more on subsequent visits. These tours are great fun for believers and sceptics alike and I highly recommend them. I thought with having just written an article on this tour with an interview with Jan Henderson the founder of these tours, I would add some video to give people a better idea. It is amatuer footage and it WAS DARK!!!! Sooooooooo.... sorry about the quality sometimes, hopefully you will find it entertaining enough though to enjoy and want to go experience the tour for yourselves.

  • Did the tour last week; best laugh i had in a while.. especially the extra info on Greyfriars Bobby :D

    Thanks Gerry!

  • Oh yes Greyfriars Bobby was my favourite story. I took my young son on the tour and a lady was horrified Gerry was telling this version of the story in front of him. The fact we were about to take this 12 year old into an area supposedly frequented by a poltergeist that attacks people didn't seem to bother her at all! lol

  • What's that bell in the background noise?

  • @davidphantomoftheope That was just the bell from the church we were standing next to :)

  • why can't you understand are you deaf? sick of people complaining they can't understand us scots. it's because we speak in our own unique way

  • no complaints here, I love it. :) I used to speak broad Geordie... watch people's expressions there lol
