HUGE illegal KO slam!!

http://www.FightHubHQ.com This huge Illegal KO slam ended the match between Cody Butzer and myself. We ended up going near the end of the mat. The ref called for us to move to the center and as I let up to walk backwards Cody spiked me on my head.

The throw is not illegal per se. Throwing on purpose over the head is illegal. Anyway, normally the one person receiving the throw is responsible for his own safety. Do you know why you hit the mat with the head? Because you didn't let go of the guilhotine choke. It is up to you to risk injury of proceed with uchikomi/breakfall to care for your health. If you did indeed let go of the guilhotine you could twist to safety and fall on you back and even slap the mat to reduce the impact.
