the problem of this film is that they try to convince us that the boot tripulation where almost against nazi, whereas the submarine division was only fill with nazi followers.

Very good film. Just like Stalingrad. Some people in germany just seem to know how to make those deathly but grippingly true movies. No glamour and happy ending, no heroic bs, sh..t as it was for soldiers and is for some even today unfortunately.
