Fire in Jaipur

Exclusive video and images from the site near Sitapura Industrial Area in jaipur where there has been a major fire outbreak in the Indian Oil depot. The fire has been on for the last 22 hours and still no chances of being sub sided. The area near to the spot has been fully evacuated. Many companies , educational institutes in Sitapura Industrial area were emptied yesterday. As it seems that nothing can be done till the whole fuel burns out. Experts have been called from all over the country but the crisis management in our country is very poor. Many have been killed and injured in the fire that broke out on thursday. Residents of about ten nearby villages, which house an estimated five lakh people, and inmates of hostels in 10 engineering and technical colleges and a medical college have been evacuated in the wake of the incident after which power supply in the area was cut off. Preliminary reports said the fire broke out after a pipeline valve failed when petrol was being transferred from the IoC terminal to Bharat Petroleum's storage nearby.
