Oklahoma's poultry industry is a 3 billion dollar business that provides more than 12,000 jobs around the state. Yet in recent years, Oklahoma's poultry industry has had it's share of unfavorable publicity.

That's not what I hear. One guy told me that he put turkey litter directly into Lake Hudson to draw in the crappie. Every stream I used to swim in
as a kid is now polluted with chicken crap and
the bugs it carries. Medicated feed causes the
bacteria to be antibiotic resistant. Then there's
the arsenic and other things that some are
using to pink up the meat. Lake Tenkiller has
really suffered. It used to be a pretty clear lake
but not anymore.
