Steve Irwin died getting stung in the chest by a stingray while shooting an underwater documentary on deadly ocean animals. The stingray's barb pierced his heart, and most say he died almost instantly.
He didn't deserve to go so soon. I grew up watching Steve and his family, and I cried when I heard he was gone. I greive for his family, friends, and fellow fans. The animals and the world still need him...
I made this slideshow in memory of him.
Rest in peace Steve, you'll always be loved, and will remain in our hearts and memories forever.

I always as a fan of Steve Irwin , I was so sorry and sad to hear that he had passed away. I always loved watching the television show Croc Hunter. Terri and Family , Heart felt condlolences to you all.

I just finished the book by Terri Irwin "Steve and Me".
It was beautiful... they are wonderful, the love the trust the passion... i cried through every chapter. He was a true wildlife HERO !!! He was my hero, I can only imagine the pain Terri, Bindi and Bob feel, but we know they will carry on his work - for the love of animals and all life.

Steve Irwin was really a great man, many people started looking at animals differently because of his work. It is sad to have lost him so soon, but he lived his life to the fullest, and I am sure he wants us to do the same and continue his work. That is what he would want us to do. Thank you for your heartfelt tribute!

OMG I hate that he dided. I watched his show like all the time... Lol I sound like a wossy but I almost cried when I heard he dided.
