Line of sight is not included in imposing the 'keeper, what a ridiculous suggestion! Obstruction or necessary threat for positional change maybe, but it's outrageous to suggest that Lampard is offside. Anybody who does should read the rulebook or grow some common sense... What an awesome goal, should be appreciated for what it is :p

@Eddeck59 It doesn't matter whether he is making an effort to win the ball, he is impeding the goalkeepers view, also, he doesn't make an effort to get back on-side, he slowly jogs, in order to distract the goalie to such an extent that he impedes his view. You can be in a "passive off-side position" and still be called offside,

@FlamesBloodlust No, Frank Lampard does not act as if he's going to take the ball nor does his movement bothers the keeper's action in anyway, no offence here. He's a good 10 meters in front of the goalie when Cole shoots, so much for "impeading the view".. He is just in a passive off-side position, nothing irregular here. Goal perfectly valid. Any ref' who would disallow this goal is a nutcase.
