I really need some help. My g&g scar has some problems. The gearbox i think is loosing its air seal. My only two options are to either get a new gearbox or get it fixed from a shop because ill break my gun if i try. If anyone knows a good airsoft shop in MA that can fix my gun, or knows a good website to get a new gearbox for my gun then send a message to my inbox plzzz

@psykedelicdude4 oh a kwa m4, going to do to another G&G m4 and G&G sr25

@InvokeZero really i have a G&G and notice when i took it apart all the shavings from wear tear of gears stayed in the gear box. me and my brothers have done this to a G&G mp5 bb, G&G m4, G&G m14, Echo1 mp5, a china brand thompson, and UMP. al have notice that all the grease in gears just collected to much dirt. this regular silicon does not collect dirt and u can spray in without opening gearbox

@psykedelicdude4 if you're talking about the same kind of spray-on silicone you use to lubricate your barrel... I honestly hope your luck holds out because it's not designed for that kind of use. That is why they make things like White Lithium grease, teflon, and the silicon-based gear grease. Just look at the G&G complete gearbox lubrication kit, it'll show you what you need.

@InvokeZero not ture silicone lube is better then standard gear box lube because it does not catch and hold dust, dirt, or shavings from gears. i do this but the problem is u need to lube atleast everyother month. this guy must have not cleaned out the old lube
I would REALLY recommend not using Silicone lubricant on the gears, I have done that on guns before and it causes horrible jamming problems that will eventually lock your gun down until you use Teflon grease on the gears.

Well it looked like silicone so whatever, but there are people who have done it before that don't understand a lot about airsoft that will. Not everyone's a geek about mechboxes like you seem to portray.
