sometimes it cab be really hard to differentiate histologically between a nodular hyperplasia of the prostate and a fibroadenoma (specially when the classical breast lobules are not present in the field!) another similar example can be the fibrocystic diseases of the breast), any striking differences? thank you.

you are absolutely correct, to suggest a prostate lesion could look like breast, would be heresy to many effete purist bullshit pathologists, but you are CORRECT, the main differentiation would be the GROSS, imho, fibroadenomas always look lite well defined tumors
