My Quick Meshuggah'esq session tutorial Part 1

So at last I have a some kind of a tutorial on how to make my mixes in Cakewalk Sonar 7. In this I try to explain my way of creating this session in a sensible amount of time. I'd also like to note that this is just one way of doing things.

Just to be clear, your tuning your guitar through line 6 pod farm? And your "bass" through guitar rig? Would you post a link to download your preset for both? It would much appreciated. Or just a video over them.

Is it possible to do with the guitars the same thing you did with the bass? just record a clean guitar sound and then use guitar rig to get the tone?

I recorded the guitar tracks with POD. Only the bass has software based amp sounds.

You voice isn't audible on LQ, because on one speaker the phase of your voice is reversed. On LQ the sound is mono, so it cancelles itself out. By the way: It's very exhausting listening to it on HQ...I had to mute one channel...
