Steve, I'd forgotten about this 'til a friend posted another video of noodling to his Facebook. I had to look you up and watch it again. STILL crazy!!

great vid dude kick ass fish an yea its tons of fun ... its great when they bite down on ya hand an you feel just how strong the fish is .. what a rush

The act of noodling goes back to the indians.
So imagine the banks of rivers covered with thousands of indians that are all noodling.
The fish are still here and there's no way that there's more people noodling now than in those days.
There's no threat to the fish population.
That's a knee jerk reaction by people of the liberal mindset.
Always trying to save everything.
With the size of those fish they have no other natural predators than man.

Hey Steve - Very Good Video! THANKS!

dude, hilarious. he ties his kids to the cats. nice! i hope to be just like this dude.

hey firebug37101, you should study the sport first. when you go noodling it is during spawning season, but the female has laid her eggs and let them hatch to fry and move on, so that only leaves the male to be hogged. so there is no drop in population.

Hi Dusty,
Sounds like a treat, the subject of this film was originally from Mississippi and made it sound appealing. I edited the film with a friend but I've never been down there myself. What's it like?

This guy has no clue! He is an idiot. He doesn't know the first thing about catfish. Retarded!

Jason,
I edited this film and I live in Alaska so I don't know much about catfish but Steve here has a huge photo album full of grinning catfish grabblers that would seem to indicate he's caught quite a few in his time.
