Pt. 1 of This Strange Engine played along with Fender/Tokai Stratocaster (EMG SA), through a Koch Powertone II, Boss CE-3, Boss/Keeley DS-1, TC Electronic G-Major and controlled by a Roland FC-200.
On this little recording I think I finally captured what sounds like the 'Steve Rothery lead sound'. Which is largely influenced by the EMG pickups, and also by the modded DS-1 through Channel 3 of the Koch. Sorry for the sloppy playing in some parts!
