  • Very good job. Thank you. I learned that the thermostat at the bottom of tank which now costs 90$, was the likely culprit of the tank splitting in the first place (pressure issue), so its a good thing you (and I ) broke it.Your description worked on my X5 just fine.

  • I am changing my tank and I am stuck at last step. After I removed all the things you have stated expansion tank would not come out, any thoughts? Have taken out thermostat tab, Transmission tab and all hoses. It is holding up with bottom pipe connector. How I can pull it up?
