The 13" vs 15" Macbook Pro decision relies completely on your financial capabilities. If you have the money to buy 15", then purchasing a 13" is irreasonable until you don't need the heavy duty performance of 15". If you don't have the money for 15", then the only choice left is 13". Both are good machines. 15" is superior to 13" by a small margin. So you won't regret 13" purchase...

Wow, thanks a lot, i was really getting close to ordering the 15" for college as i render a lot of 1080p video (being a media student) but i have to drag it with me everyday and the extra $600 or so would have been a bit steep, especially since i have a custom PC at home (weighs about 50lbs so not practical to take to college :P)
I'll be buying the 2.7ghz 13", throwing an extra 4gb of ram in all for less than a base 15". Thanks (:

i love my 15 inch, but sometimes i wish i had the 13" just because its more portable and what not but the biggest visible difference between the 13 and 15 inch is that the 15 inch has speakers along the sides
I think im going to go with the 13 in because thats all i want, but i have a question, which computer's speakers are louder? Cus the 13 in doesnt have visible speakers..

@JoshWGee The 15 inch's speakers are higher quality, and louder. However, the 13 inch's speakers are not at all bad or quiet.

Now you need to do another review on the same thing only with the new 13 and 15 MBP

@MrGamester66 I considered it when they came out- but the same points are present. The 15 inch is still much faster than the 13, with more options for more advanced users. The 13 inch is still easier to transport, and it's still much slower since it only has dual core processors and limited graphics/display options.

@RyanKnowsTech But doesn't the knew 13 inch have a i5 now just like the 15 inch?

@MrGamester66 It is an i5, but it's a significantly slower dual core processor, instead of the 15 inch's quad core i7 chips.
