Ya! I got diagnosed with Depression and they just wouldn't listen. They kept giving me more and more antidepressants until I went really crazy. Went to another shrink and was diagnosed with Bipolar and I'm now taking Lithium 300 mg, 2x day, plus something called Seroquel XR 150 mg at bedtime, I'll see how it goes.
I'm out of work and need to find employment, but this stuff may turn me into a blob. I'm older and I want to be productive - NOT a blob!!!
Make SURE you psychiatrists listens!

@BlackSabbathFan1985 The mood stabilizers help but they do not cure the bi-polar.
(i have bi-polar.)
I am generally much better. I still get days when i am suicidal but these are less frequent than before i took the medication.

I don't understand when she says she can't work because some days she can't get out of bed. Doesn't the medicine help to balance the moods out? Just curious :)
