Multi touch table (Rear Diffused Illumination)

This multi touch table is based on the diffused illumination methodology. The body is basic wood, and the touch surface is clear acrylic sheet.

The table was developed, along with an eCommerce based multi-touch enabled software solution, as part of a university project by team members: Rahul Vagadiya, Joshua Nikilesh D'Souza and Yusuf Bin Ansar.

The project won accolades in the following competitions.
1) IEEE UAE Student Day -- Senior Design Competition (SD 2010) held at Petroleum University, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
2) Undergraduate Research Conference (URC 2010) held at Zayed University (ZU), Dubai, UAE.
3) Software Development Trade Show (SDTS 2010) held at the University Of Wollongong (UOWD), Dubai, UAE.
4). Software Project Competition (SPC 2010) held at Manipal University, Dubai, UAE.
