of course the interviewer would ask if theyre having a good time first you dont try to have a good open conversation starting with "so what do you think of heath ledger?" of course he needs to lean into the question by joking around first. It was awkward on both ends but it was worthit -everyone wants to hear what Jake had to say about Heath's death

In respect this interviewer was one of the only that ever addressed the topic who is sorts of a Bob Costas of Hollywood red carpet. I respsect his aproach. People of public stature in all walks of life will always be curious figures. Sports figures as these people are two of the same breed, spotlight material. Pain is pain and that was pretty somber that the interviewer knew he was gonna hit the nerve. Well done.
